Homeless conference to be held

The San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership will host its 11th annual Homeless Summit next month.

The one-day event, to be held in collaboration with the county Office of Homeless Services, is scheduled to be held Nov. 14 at the Ontario Airport Hotel, 700 N. Haven Ave., according to a statement.

Any organization or individual with an interest in ending homelessness – county departments, community and faith-based organizations, community members – is encouraged to attend. Both host organizations will discuss what has been done in the past 12 months to end homelessness in the county and present possible programs for the next year.

Supervisors Josie Gonzales and James Ramos are among those scheduled to speak.

Anyone interested in attending may register at http://wp.sbcounty.gov/dbh/sbchp/11th-annual-homless-summit.
