NAIOP Inland Empire has donated $5,000 to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Riverside.
The donation, which was made last Thursday, will cover the cost of 40,000 meals, insuring that hundreds of Inland Empire families in need will have food for the holidays, according to a statement.
More than 35 local NAIOP members helped pack and sort 2,000 pounds of food donations. This marks the second consecutive year the chapter has donated money and volunteered time to the food bank, according to the statement.
NAIOP Inland Empire is the regional chapter of the national commercial real estate development association. It is the leading professional organization for Inland developers, brokers and property owners in all sector of commercial real estate.
