Job fair scheduled for newest tribal casino

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is looking to fill positions at its new casino.

A job fair is scheduled to be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 27 at the Mary Pickford Theatre, 36-850 Pickfair St. in Cathedral City, according to a statement.

Full and part-time on-call positions are available in food and beverage and on the casino floor. Tribal officials are looking to fill more than 500 jobs at its casino in Cathedral City, which they hope to open this fall.

All applicants must wear masks and be prepared to have their temperature taken. They are also encouraged to bring resumes and work samples.

Agua Caliente Cathedral City will have more than 30,000 square feet of casino gaming, including slot machines and table games, and a 12,000-square-foot outdoor pavilion, according to the tribe’s website.
