Michael Krouse, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been elected to serve on the board of the Cal Travel political action committee.
Founded in 1981, Cal Travel PAC has lobbied on behalf of organizations in California who rely on travel and tourism to remain in business, according to a statement.
Those entities include cities, resorts, hotels, amusement parks and sports venues.
“I am honored to serve on the board of directors for Cal Travel,” Krouse said in a statement. “As the official destination and marketing organization [for Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga], we keep our finger on the pulse of tourism advocacy in addition to keeping Greater Ontario top of mind amongst our peers and state representatives.”
