The Los Angeles County Fair is moving to spring.
After 100 years of being a September event, the fair will be held in May starting next year, according to a statement on the organization’s website.
The 2020 fair will be held Thursdays through Sundays starting May 5. It’s last day will be May 30, Memorial Day.
“We look forward to starting a new tradition for the next 100 years and can’t wait to welcome you all back in the full bloom of spring,” the statement reads.
Information regarding hours, pricing, exhibits, competitions and more will be released in the next several months. The 2021 fair had been cancelled due to COVID-19.
