Randall W. Lewis, executive vice president for marketing with the Lewis Group of Cos. in Upland, will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Cal State San Bernardino.
Lewis will received the degree Saturday during the fall commencement for the College of Education and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, which will be held at Coussoulis Arena.
“We are delighted to award Randall with an honorary doctorate,” said Tomas D. Morales, university president, in a statement. “He has contributed to the quality of life in the Inland Empire region by promoting an admirable range of endeavors and initiatives in the arts, education, healthy living and sustainable development initiatives.”
Lewis is a supporter of health, education and the arts. He serves on the executive committee of the Southern California Association of Governments and the board of the Southern California Leadership Council. He is a past trustee of the Urban Land Institute and a current governor of the Urban Land Institute Foundation, according to the statement.
