Ontario International Airport has added the first of two premium lounges designed to make life a little easier for its travelers.
Escape Lounge, a premium area that offers comfort and convenience for all travelers using Ontario International, held its grand opening in Terminal Two Wednesday, according to a statement.
Escape Lounges offer a number amenities, including hot and cold food and beverages, seating with power outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, flight information and access to national and local newspapers.
“We’re pleased to welcome Escape Lounges to Ontario [International],” said Mark Thorpe, chief executive officer of the Ontario International Airport Authority, in the statement. “Their arrival adds to the excitement and momentum that has been building at Ontario International in recent months and reflects our commitment to provide our customers with the best amenities possible.”
MAG USA, an airport management and development company based in Tennessee, is developing two 2,800-square-foot Escape Lounges at Ontario International. The second facility, in Terminal Four, is expected to open later this year, according to the statement.
