Beginning April 25, Mountain Avenue between First and Second streets in Norco will shut down, a closure expected to last until August.
That action is because of construction on the first phase of Palomino Ranch, a two-million-square foot industrial project that broke ground earlier this month, according to a statement on the city’s website.
During this closure, utilities will be upgraded and closed section of Mountain Avenue will be rebuilt, including street widening, installation of curbs and gutters, and repaving, according to the statement.
Palomino Ranch is being built at 1811 Mountain Ave. Construction on the second phase is expected next year, according to CapRock Partners, the project’s developer.
