The inaugural Menifee Music and Arts Festival is scheduled to be held March 30 at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee Valley Campus.
The free event, which will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., will be headlined by the twice-platinum and multiple Grammy Award-nominated duo Thompson Square, according to a statement.
Also on the bill are several local acts, including Temecula Road, Kanan Road, the MSJC Menifee Jazz Ensemble, Clapton Hook, the Scottie Mac Band and the Chris Fast Band.
Participants may also enjoy live art demonstrations, with local artists representing the Arts Council of Menifee and Mt. San Jacinto College’s art departments.
“The Menifee Music and Arts Festival strives to be an annual regional event highlighting unique arts and culture,” Menifee Community Services Director Jonathan Nicks said in the statement.. “Mt. San Jacinto College and Arts Council Menifee have successfully collaborated on previous events, and the City of Menifee, along with the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard, are thrilled to join their efforts to develop a robust festival.”
