Gina Cavallo Collins has been named executive director of the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum.
She will replace Steve Spiller, who is scheduled to retire at the end of this month after spending more than 15 years with the foundation, according to a statement.
Cavallo Collins has spent 30 years working for museums and in non-profit management, including stints with the Heard Museum, the Shemer Art Center and Museum and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, all in Arizona.
An Upland native, Cavallo Collins has also served as administrator and chief financial officer for Victory Farms Inc. in Phoenix and Arizona.
“The opportunity to be the executive director of the Mission Inn Foundation is truly a dream job for me,” Cavallo Collins said in the statement. “I love the Inn, the Inland Empire, California history, and the connection the Foundation has to the community.”
