Moreno Valley residents are asked to participate in a telephone town hall meeting.
The event, scheduled for 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, will be a talk radio-style forum in which Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez will answer questions, according to a statement.
This is a great opportunity to ask me about City issues close to your heart,” Gutierrez said in a statement. “I understand that many residents don’t have the time to attend a City Council meeting to make their voice heard. With the Telephone Town Hall, we’re bringing City Hall to you.”
Moreno Valley has used the telephone format before, believing it to be more convenient for residents. It will be broadcast simultaneously in English and Spanish.
