Moreno Valley has again received an Excellence in Information Technology Award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California.
This is the 20th consecutive year the city has received that award, which recognizes municipalities and other public entities that meet information technology standards related to the public sector, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Moreno Valley has won the award more often than any other city.
“Moreno Valley has a proud tradition of innovation across all sectors, including information technology,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez in the statement.
The MISAC is a nonprofit with more than 1,000 members. It promotes more efficient municipal government through increased cooperation, collaboration, education, and sharing of information, according to the statement.
