Moreno Valley will provide entrepreneurial workshops to the local community through a partnership with UC Riverside.
The arrangement between the university’s Office of Technology Partnerships and staff from the Entrepreneurial Proof of Concept and Innovation Center will provide business-related advice and assistance to Moreno Valley residents, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The city council unanimously approved the program on April 4.
Sessions will be held at the city’s Business and Employment Resource Center. They will be available in person and on Zoom.
A schedule has not been announced.
“Our new partnership will establish the BERC as an epicenter for cultivating local entrepreneurs in Moreno Valley,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera in the statement. “As a UC Riverside alum, I know their expertise will be a benefit to our local business community, and our residents will benefit substantially from this partnership.”
The resource center provides resources, workshops, classes, programs, and job fairs to Moreno Valley residents. For more information visit www.morenovalleybusinesss.com.
