Gloria Fisher has been named president of San Bernardino Valley College.
Fisher, who has been the school’s interim president for the past 16 months, was named president last month, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
A SBV College employee since 1991, Fisher has taught criminal justice, been a department chair, served as dean of the school’s criminal justice division and been vice president of student services.
Fisher, who said one of her goals is to make the college a center of cultural events for the San Bernardino community, is the school’s 13th president, the report stated.
