Nazaroff named water district’s top employee

Leah Nazaroff has been named the Monte Vista Water District’s 2020 employee of the year.

An accounting supervisor, Nazaroff began working for the district five years ago as an accountant before being promoted recently to her current position, according to a statement in the district’s website.

Azaroff plans and coordinates the activities of the accounting and finance department. Describe by her colleague as a dedicated, hard-working employee, Nazaroff also oversees the district’s annual budget audit.

The 94-year-old district has approximately 12,500 residential and business customers. Its jurisdiction includes Montclair, Chino Hills, parts of Chino and the unincorporated areas between Pomona, Chino Hills, Chino, and Ontario, according to its website.
