Nearly 1,800 cases of COVID-19 in SB County

San Bernardino County had 1,772 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Friday.

Eighty-two county residents had died of the virus as of April 24, the most recent data available, according to a statement on the county’s website.

The county now has a 4.6 percent fatality rate related to the Coronavirus. Seventeen thousand five hundred and fifty seven county residents had been tested for COVID-19 as of Friday, a 4.4 percent increase from the previous day.

County health officials are conducting tests from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, 400 N. Pepper Ave., in Colton.
