Hardwoods Speciality Products, a leading distributor of hardwood veneers, plywood and solid lumber products, has leased warehouse-distribution space in Perris.
The 147,000-square-foot building is part of the Harley Knox Logistics Center, a new Class A industrial facility at 17610 Harvill Ave., according to a statement released Thursday.
San Francisco-based Newcastle Partners Inc., a real estate investment and development company, owns the property.
The lease is for 10 years. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Hardwoods Specialty plans to move about 30 employees into the building Jan. 1. Besides warehouse and distribution, the facility will be used for will-call pickup, according to the statement.
Newcastle Partners received multiple inquiries about the property before settling on Harwoods Speciality, said Jackson Smith, partner with Newcastle Partners
“[Hardwoods Specialty] is not only a company with a successful history, but it’s continuing to grow its market share,” Smith said in a statement. “With this new location, the company will be able to access both a strong workforce and customer base.”
