The Inland Empire division of the California Apartment Association has a new leader.
Matthew Buck has been named vice president of public affairs, having previously served as the office’s government affairs director, according to a statement released Thursday.
Buck began his new duties July 1. He replaces Tim Johnson, who has accepted an executive management position with an affordable housing and property management company in Ontario.
“I’m excited at the opportunity to continue building upon my relationships with members of the rental housing industry, public officials and other community leaders,” Buck said in the statement.
“Together we can maintain a healthy business environment for the rental housing industry while ensuring that renters have safe, clean and well-maintained places to call home.”
The CAA is the largest statewide trade group that represents owners, investors, developers, managers and suppliers of apartment communities, according to the statement.
