Nordstrom Rack has leased 30,000 square feet at a Riverside shopping center.
The space at Canyon Springs Marketplace, a 183,000-square-foot facility next to the 60 Freeway, was formerly occupied by Bed, Bath & Bed, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Details of the agreement were not released. Progressive helped negotiate the lease, which was announced Tuesday.
Nordstrom Rack, which carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and nordstrom.com at discounts of up to 70 percent, expects to open at Canyon Springs Marketplace this fall. Marshalls, Old Navy, Petco, Big Lots, Best Buy and Michaels are also located there.
“In addition to providing the local community with a great new place to shop, it’s also terrific news for the shopping center gaining a new anchor tenant that will draw more traffic to the property,” said Progressive Real Estate President Brad Umansky in the statement.
Built in 2006, Canyon Springs Marketplace is at 2660 Canyon Springs Parkway. More than 218,000 people, with an average household income of more than $71,000, live within a five-mile radius of the shopping center, according to Progressive Real Estate.
I used to work at the place in Riverside,89- 98. It paid the bills it was ranked by how much you sold if you didn’t sell anything that day you didn’t get paid I toped out too early it was very stressful between the buyer and the owner. I used to take home all the problems to my husband. He was very happy with me as long as brought the bug bucks.
