OIA lands another restaurant

Ontario International Airport keeps attracting places to eat.

Rock & Brews Restaurant, which serves American cuisine in a family-friendly musical environment, has begun operating in Terminal 4, according to a statement.

That opening comes one month after Einstein Bros. Bagels began serving in Terminal 4 and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s WPizza set up shop in Terminal 2.

Ontario International’s food and beverage concessions are being upgraded by the Delaware North Cos. Travel Hospitality Services Inc., which has invested $6 million in refurbishing and rebranding all of the airport’s dining facilities.

That project is expected to take about a year and a half to complete.

Food and beverage prices at Ontario International will be no more than 10 percent above non-airport prices, a drop of eight percent from the facility’s previous concession agreement.

The agreement with Delaware North is expected to generate about $13 million during the next 10 years for the Ontario International Airport Authority, the agency that owns and operates Ontario International, according to the statement.
