Darin Anderson, chairman and chief executive officer of Salas O’Brien, has been named the 2016 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Professional Services in the Inland Empire and Orange County.
The award, in its 30th year in the United States, recognizes entrepreneurs who excel in multiple areas, including innovation, financial performance and commitment to their businesses and communities, according to a statement.
Anderson is scheduled to receive the award Nov. 19 at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs.
Salas O’Brien is a planning, design and construction management firm based in San Jose. It has 14 offices in the United States, according to the company’s website.
