Todd Jorgenson has been named assistant general manager for water by Riverside Public Utilities.
Jorgenson has served in a variety roles with the agency since he began working there in 2004, including senior engineer, principal engineer, water operations manager and water engineering manager, according to a statement.
For the past six months, Jorgenson has been interim assistant general manager for water.
“Todd’s broad experience leading different facets of the organization will continue to benefit [Riverside Public Utilities] and our customer owners,” said Girish Balachandran, the agency’s general manager, in the statement. “We are very pleased that he will continue to be an integral part of our executive management team.”
Jorgenson holds Level 2 certification in water distribution and treatment from the California Department of Public Health, according to the statement.
