The Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau has received three first place awards from a prominent trade association.
Last year’s Christmas on Euclid festival took first place for promotional piece and print advertisement from the California/Nevada Festivals & Events Association, also known as CalFest, according to a statement released today.
Also, the 2019 Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion won the first place award for program or schedule of events.
The awards were presented last month at the annual CalFest Convention in San Diego.
“We take pride in the signature events we produce annually and appreciate the recognition by CalFest.” said Michael Krouse, the bureau’s president and chief executive, in the statement.
Since its founding in 1992, CalFest has represented community festivals, historic celebrations, sporting events and ethnic events, among others. Its goal is to help its members stage better events and grow closer to their respective communities, according to the statement.
