Ontario to hold Christmas festival

This year’s Christmas on Euclid Experience, Ontario’s annual holiday celebration, will begin with the Christmas tree lighting, scheduled to be held Dec. 6 at Ontario Town Square. 

That event, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., will feature food vendors, dance groups and the arrival of Santa Clause, according to the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, producer of the festival.

On Dec. 14, the Euclid craft fair and festival is scheduled to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., also at Ontario Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Avenue. Families are invited to enjoy the holiday market, craft fair, snow play, horse drawn carriage rides, ice skating and live performances.

Other events include the 5K Reindeer Run, which will be on Euclid Avenue, a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Ontario Kiwanis Club, Rudolph’s Dash, a race for families and younger children and the Craft Fair and Carnival at Ontario Town Square.

The Inaugural Soap Box Derby will race down Euclid Avenue between “G” Street and “E” with the race starting at 11 a.m.  Anyone interested in learning more about building and entering a car in the race can attend the Soap Box Derby Clinic on November 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ontario Convention Center, North Annex- 1947 Convention Center Way, Ontario, CA 91764.
