Lindsey Paige-McCloy has been named Palm Springs’ sustainability director.
Currently program director at Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, Paige-McCloy is scheduled to begin her new job Aug. 1, according to a statement on the city’s website.
McCloy moved to Southern California last year after working for seven years in the office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, where she managed legislative, intergovernmental affairs and special projects. With Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator she designs, implements, and evaluates clean technology pilot projects.
“We are very excited to welcome Lindsey-Paige McCloy to Palm Springs,” City Manager Justin Clifton said in the statement. “She has a unique skillset that will help greatly expand our work in sustainability and implementation of our Climate Action Plan.”
