Palm Springs Ethics Panel to Meet

The Palm Springs City Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday with the city’s recently formed Ethics, Transparency and Government Reform Task Force.

The session is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at the city council chambers, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, according to a statement.

Anyone interested may also watch the proceedings live on Palm Springs Community Television Ch. 17 or online at the city’s website, palmspringsca.gov.

The task force is made up of eight committees, each has developed best practice policies in their respective areas. The task force has already recommended updating the city’s conflict of interest codes.

The task force’s other recommendations can be found in a 97-page report on the city’s website.
