Frontier Airlines will soon add non-stop service between Palm Springs International Airport and O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
Starting Dec. 14, the Denver-based airline will operate twice-weekly flight between those two locations, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“The City of Palm Springs is thrilled that Frontier Airlines will add seasonal nonstop service between Palm Springs International and Chicago O’Hare,” City Manager David H. Ready said in the statement. “We thank Frontier for recognizing the need to add service for mid-westerners looking to enjoy our year-round sunshine. This is great news for the Palm Springs destination.”
Special introductory fares start at $69. More information is available at www.FlyFrontier.com.
Palm Springs International is on pace to reach 2.2 million passengers by the end of the year, and it will have the most non-stop flights during the holidays in its history: 51 per day between Dec. 20 and Jan. 6, according to the statement.
