Palm Spring residents are invited to attend the first of several workshops regarding the city’s general plan update.
The session is scheduled to be held 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Primrose B, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“This is the first step in updating the city’s general Plan, the primary document we use to guide where and how people live, work, play, and learn in Palm Springs,” said Flinn Fagg, the city’s planning services director, in the statement.
The workshop will focus on vision-priorities, housing, circulation-transportation and land use. Residents will also be asked to complete an online survey that will be available the day of the session at www.psgeneraloplan.com.
All information will be reviewed by staff and used in the general plan update. The convention center is at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.
