Ernie Reyna has been named Perris’ deputy city manager.
Reyna, who worked in local government for 23 years, joined the city nearly two years ago as its finance director, according to a statement on the city’s website.
He began his new position last month.
“I am pleased to announce that Ernie Reyna has assumed the position of deputy city manager,” said City Manager Clara Miramontes in the statement. “Mr. Reyna’s breadth of experience adds value to the city’s leadership team to carry out the city’s operations to its fullest potential.”
Before joining Perris, Reyna was Eastvale’s finance director/treasurer and the Western Riverside Council of Governments’ chief financial officer. He also spent 13 years with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians working in accounting and administration, according to the statement.
