Public Festivals Planned

Two cities in the Inland Empire are preparing for community festivals this fall, one for the first time.

La Quinta is scheduled to host Brew In LQ from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 22 at SilverRock Resort, 79-179 Ahmanson Lane, according to a statement.

The event, a first for the city, will bring together local and regional breweries, food vendors and music by several local musical acts. Patrons are encouraged to visit the Cobra Golf interactive display, try their luck at a giant Jenga, the block-stacking game and enjoy craft beer amidst beautiful surroundings.

Brew in LQ is limited to people 21 and older. No pets are allowed, and everyone is subject to search upon entry. Tickets, priced from $10 to $30, went on sale Monday. They may be purchased at PlayInLaQuinta.com/BrewTickets.

On Oct. 21, the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold its 20th Annual Vintners Gala at the Ontario Convention Center. The black tie event features food, wine, entertainment, a photo booth and a silent auction.

Proceeds will be used by the chamber to pay for programs that educate its members and promote economic development in Rancho Cucamonga and the surrounding community.

Last year’s event sold out, with more than 500 tickets purchased. For more information call (909) 987-1012 or visit ranchochamber.org.
