Riverside Public Utilities has received a pair of awards from the American Public Power Association.
The awards were presented today at the association’s Customer Connections Conference in Austin, Texas, according to a statement.
The utility received two Awards of Excellence – one in the “print” category for its financial report and one in the video category for its “I Own It” video, which features some of the utility’s customers talking about the benefits of a public utility.
“We work hard to create communications materials that keep our customers informed and up-to-date on the work of their hometown utility,’” said Michael Bacich, spokesman for Riverside Public Utilities, in the statement. “So we are very proud when our efforts are recognized by our public utilities peers.”
