Redlands professor honored

Professor Jack Osborn of the University of Redlands was honored recently for his 20 years of service to the university.

A reception attended by 100 people was held earlier this month at the Newport Beach Country Club to recognize Osborn’s accomplishments, in particular his development of the school’s Global Business Program, according to a statement on the school’s website.

Also, the Hunsaker Chair of Management was renamed for Osborn.

“It was rewarding to see so many former students come together with a common experience,” said Chuck Wilke, who graduated from the University of Redlands in 1964 and who now serves on the Global Business Program’s advisory board. “This younger cross-section of our alumni showed their enthusiastic feelings for Jack.”

More than 260 students have graduated from Global Business Program, according to the statement.
