Some Inland residents got an early look recently at Oakmont of San Antonio Heights, a luxury retirement community scheduled to open next month in Upland.
About 300 people toured the 75,000-square-foot facility at Euclid Avenue and 24th Street in late April, according to a statement.
The facility, which is 60 percent reserved and taking reservations daily, is scheduled to open next month
When it opens, Oakmont of San Antonio Heights will offer assisted living and memory-care services for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The facility – which is near San Antonio Community Hospital and Colonies Crossroads Shopping Center – will accommodate 56 assisted-living and 23 memory-care apartments. It will have studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, according to the statement.
Amenities will include gourmet dining, daily on and off-site recreation activities, a library, movie theater, fully equipped fitness center and a pet park.
Oakmont of San Antonio Heights was built by Oakmont Senior Living in Santa Rosa, which specializes in developing and managing resort-style senior communities. It has won multiple awards for its work, according to the company’s website.
