Riverside County’s three proposed redistricting maps are scheduled to be discussed during the Dec. 7 board of supervisors meeting.
Three draft maps will be considered, including two from the county’s redistricting technical committee and one from the community, according to a statement on the county’s website.
All three maps, including high-resolution versions, may be viewed at www.RivCo.org.
“We have been committed to seeking input from the community throughout the entire redistricting process,” said Board Chair Karen Spiegel in the statement. “Hearing feedback from residents has been extremely important as the work of the board, and the work of the county is on behalf of our residents.”
Board members have reviewed 37 proposed maps and held four public hearings on redistricting. The Dec. 7 meeting, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., is scheduled to be the last session, according to the statement.
