Riverside will hold a public meeting to discuss possible changes to the city’s code of ethics and conduct.
The city council’s Inclusiveness, Community Engagement, and Governmental Processes Committee is scheduled to hold a virtual meeting at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2, during which the committee will ask for input from the Board of Ethics and the public, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Any suggested changes to the code will be heard by the council.
Riverside voters in 2004 approved a code of ethics and conduct. The mayor, city council, and members of city boards, commissions, and committees are subject to the code, which is reviewed every year.
