Riverside is asking for the public’s assistance in its search for its next city attorney.
City officials have scheduled an online community meeting for 6:30-8 p.m., Tuesday the 16th to gather input which the city council will use when it makes the hire, according to a statement on the city’s website.

The city attorney is one of three charter officers appointed by the city council. That person directs the city’s legal services and provides legal advice to the mayor, city council, city manager and all city departments and various boards and commissions, according to the statement.
