Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville has been appointed chair of Riverside Public Utilities’ board.
Now in her second term, Sanchez-Monville worked for 10 years as a legislative analyst for the city, where she managed federal and state policy agendas, according to a statement on the city’s website.
She also is a board member with Parent Institute for Quality Education – PIQE – a statewide non-profit.
“Riverside Public Utilities has been an important part of my life, and I am eager to use the knowledge and expertise I have amassed during the past two decades to make RPU even better,” Sanchez-Monville said in the statement.
New members Deborah Cherney, Gary Montgomery, Nancy Melendez and Rosemary Heru were recently sworn in, and incumbent Gil Oceguera remains on the board, according to the statement.
