SB apartment complex sells for $13.3 million

An 80-unit apartment complex in San Bernardino has been sold.

Mountain View Apartments at 2991 and 2995 Mountain Ave. was purchased for $13.3 million by a private investor in Los Angeles whose name was not released, according to CBRE.

The sellers also wished to remain anonymous. CBRE represented both sides in the transaction, which was announced Wednesday.

The gated two-building complex features 40 one-bedroom, one-bath and 40 two-bedroom, one-bath apartments. It’s near Loma Linda, San Bernardino Valley College and Ontario International Airport.

“The buyer is rehabbing the units and working closely with the city and tenants to change the feel of the property and surrounding area,” said Cray Carlson, senior vice president and a member of the team that negotiated the transaction, in the statement.

That not true I live in those apartments right now , and there’s no management on On site. In order to have something fixed you have to put an order in and wait for someone to come and look at it once they come and look at it you don’t hear from them and you don’t know what’s going on. The water gets shut off every other day it seems like and sometimes we are without wator for 2 days , Or sometimes they don’t even tell us the waters turned off . There’sThere’s mold on the ceiling leaks of pipesAnd the so called manager to these apartments it’s called Harold we never see him and when we try to get in touch with him hes very rude to us. And also the front gate to come in is always broken and people break into our mailboxes and they know this and they don’t do anything about it.
