Three leases, including an extension on a large manufacturing facility, have been signed at the Southern California Logistics Airport in Victorville.
Boeing Co. signed a five and a half year agreement to occupy a 60,400-square-foot building there, according to a statement released by Stirling Enterprises, primary developer at the airport.
Boeing, which already has facilities at the airport, will use the building at 13644 George Ave. to complete machine tooling for its maintenance operations. That work, currently done in Orange County, will be moved to the logistics airport, the former George Air Force Base.
ComAV Asset Management signed a six-year extension to remain in its corporate headquarters at 18499 Phantom West. ComAv hosts and maintains more than 200 aircraft at the logistics airport, according to the statement.
Finally, Stirling announced the renewal of a lease by United Furniture Industries of Mississippi, at a 505,000-square-foot building at 13133 Innovation Way.
The renewal is effective in November. More than 300 people work at that location.
Financial terms of all three agreements were not released.
“All of these leases demonstrate the phenomenal tenant retention we’ve experienced at SCLA,” said Anita Tuckerman, Stirling’s vice president of asset services, in the statement. “Our client base has been able to position themselves for future growth, and leverage the opportunities that the High Desert offers.”
Stirling Capital Investments is a joint venture between Stirling a Foothill Ranch developer that specializes in master-planned communities, and ProLogis, a global logistics real estate company based in San Francisco.
