See’s Candies will hold a grand opening Friday at its Jurupa Valley store.
A ribbon-cutting is scheduled to be held 9:30 a.m., and the first 100 people on attendance will receive a free See’s tote bag, according to a statement.
Anyone who makes a purchase of $25 or more will receive a free taste of See’s Candy Box, while supplies last.
The store, which is part of a national expansion by the Omaha, Neb. chain, is at Vernola Marketplace, 5205 Pats Ranch Road.
Based in South San Francisco, See’s Candies is celebrating its 99th anniversary this year. It’s owned by Berkshire Hathaway, a multinational holding company chaired by Warren Buffett.
