Barbara Sirotnik, a professor in the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino, has been named 2024 Outstanding Educator by the Inland chapter of the American Society of Public Administration.
The award, which Sirotnik received at the society’s recent scholarship luncheon, “recognizes those making an enduringly impactful contribution to education in the Inland Empire,” according to a statement on the university’s website.
Sirotnik, who will retire later this year, has taught at Cal State San Bernardino since 1980. She is a professor in the department of information and decision and is director of the university’s Institute of Applied Research and Policy Analysis, which she co-founded in 1985.
