Smart phone app helps people get their housework done

Takl Inc., a Nashville-based company that connects home service providers and users via a smart phone app, is moving into Southern California.

The company, which currently serves 420 cities in the United States, has signed up more than 5,000 local home service providers in the greater Los Angeles market, including the Inland Empire, according to a statement released Monday.

Services provided cost no more than $400 and include lawn care, house cleaning, junk removal and small repairs. The free app can be downloaded on then iOAS App Store and Google Play Store, according to the statement.
