Sprouts Farmers Market, the fast-growing supermarket chain that specializes in organic foods, fresh produce and vitamins and supplements, is coming to Eastvale.
The Phoenix-based chain has agreed to locate at the Merge Retail Center, which is being developed at the northeast corner of Archibald and Limonite avenues, according to a statement.
No opening date has been set, but once opened the store, which will cover more than 40,000 square feet, is expected to employ up to 140 people.
“Eastvale is thrilled to see The Merge project come together,” City Manger Bryan Jones said in the statement. “We have a goal of creating community gathering spaces where people can connect and prosper together [and] this project does that.”
The Merge is a 26-acre retail and light industrial project. It includes seven industrial buildings that range from 70,000 to 336,000 square feet and includes a stage for performances and other public gatherings, according to the statement.
