In the Inland Empire, the average price Monday for a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.50, a drop of about 33 cents a gallon compared with one month ago. Also, California’s excise tax on gasoline was scheduled to drop six cents, to 30 cents a gallon, on Wednesday.
