Stater Bros. Charities and the City of Hope are raising money to fight pediatric cancer.
Kids-4-Hope, an in-store campaign, began Wednesday and is scheduled to last through May 16, according to a statement released by Stater Bros. Markets.
Shoppers can donate by adding a $1 or $5 mobile donation while they are at the checkout stand. Contributions are also accepted online or by texting KIDS4HOPE to 41444.
All of the money raised will help pay for pediatric cancer treatment and education programs at City of Hope.
“Stater Bros. is committed to supporting cancer patients in the communities we are privileged to serve, and that’s why we’ve partnered with City of Hope to raise critical funds for pediatric cancer treatment,” said Nancy Negrette, chairman and president Stater Bros. Charities, in the statement.
San Bernardino-based Stater Bros. is the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California and the largest private employer in the Inland Empire.
