Southwest Healthcare Temecula Valley Hospital has been named one of the top hospitals in the United States for treating heart attacks.
The hospital recently received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2024, one of 259 hospitals in the country to receive that honor, according to a statement on the hospital’s website.
Temecula Valley Hospital “has demonstrated sustained achievement in the Chest Pain – MI Registry for two consecutive years, and has performed at the highest level for specific performance measures,” the statement reads.
Temecula Valley Hospital was cited for achieving the levels of care established by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association.
“Receiving the Platinum Performance Achievement Award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team,” said Jacquelyn Horton, cardiovascular service line director at Temecula Valley Hospital., in the statement. “We are committed to providing our heart attack patients with the highest quality of care.”
