Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa delivered the State of the City address June 11 at the Planes of Fame Air Museum.
Ulloa discussed several topics, including a reduction in crime during the past year, the success of the Chino Police Department’s Retail Theft Task Force, and the onset of Chino Rancho Park, a 1.1-acre facility at 5325 Phillips Blvd. that opened this spring, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Ulloa also announced a projected budget surplus of approximately $4.5 million for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, which starts July 1.
“This was a wonderful year for Chino,” Ulloa told the gathering, which the city hosted in partnership with the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce. “We are moving ahead like never before, while always honoring those who built the foundation for this community.”
