The University of Redlands has been named a member of Amazon’s Career Choice Program.
Amazon employees will now have an easier time pursuing undergraduate degrees and certificate-level courses offered by the university, according to a statement on the school’s website.
Some Amazon employees may receive pre-paid tuition benefits. Courses will be available on-campus or online.
The University of Redlands offers more than 40 undergraduate programs, as well as graduate programs in business, education, geographic information systems, theology, public policy, and music.
“We look forward to offering Amazon employees access to the high-caliber education we provide at the University of Redlands,” said University of Redlands President Krista Newkirk in the statement.
During the next three years, Amazon will spend $1.2 billion to improve the work skills of more than 300,000 of its U.S. employees.
