Tracey Vackar has been named to the board of directors of the Community College League of California’s Community College Trustee.
Currently president of the Riverside Community College District’s Board of Trustees, Vackar is a teacher and administrator in secondary and post-secondary adult education, according to the statement announcing her appointment.
The CCCT board has 21 members that represent more than 400 California community college trustees and 72 community college districts.
Vackar is also executive director for College, Careers and Economic Development in the Fontana Unified School District. Before being elected to the community college district board, she spent 22 years as a trustee for the Moreno Valley Unified School District Board of Education.
The CCCT is a nonprofit that takes positions on education issues before the State Board of Governors and the state legislature, according to the statement.
