Riverside will hold its 13th annual Salute to Veterans Parade and Expo Nov. 10.
Besides veterans, the event will feature marching bands, fly-overs, equestrian units, color guards, marching units, antique cars, military vehicles and active duty military personnel, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The parade, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., honors people of all ages who served in any branch of the military.
Col. Matthew Burgr, who serves as commander of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, at March Air Reserve Base, will lead this year’s parade.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Burger has won numerous awards during his military career, including the Legion of Merit.
The exposition, which will feature organizations of interest to veterans and their families, will be held on Main Street near the Old Courthouse.
